remind viewers of the material value of textiles, by celebrating
the beauty, comfort and protection they bring to our lives.

A series of functional pieces celebrating the generosity and abundance of my community.
Unwanted jeans were gathered from my neighborhood, then cut and quilted together to create new functional
textiles - which carry the memories of the original owners, and the possibility for new stories.
Scrap Weaving
Fabric and Yarn Scraps, Handwoven 2022
A material experiment in transforming scraps too small for use into a new textile.
